Can You Identify this plant/weed?

Hi,

I'm new to forums generally so I hope I'm posting this query in the right place?

I'm attempting to attach pictures of an unidentified plant/weed which is growing prolifically on an as yet unmanaged patch of land adjacent to our house.

Would anyone know what this is?  Any help would be truly appreciated. (I don't have an iPhone or any access to identification apps).

PS I took these pictures today (7th May) and I'm in Co. Antrim, UK if that helps the identification process (state of plant development etc).image

  • Thank you very much! The OH confirms that she thinks she has seen them elsewhere with the pink flowers.

With your answers, I was able to do an image search and she says the mature versions definitey look like what you've both identified.imageimage

I'd get going and get rid of those - unless you want thousands of them  image

They're fairly easy to get out though. Don't let them seed everywhere!

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I planted some roots in one of my 'moth zones' and now they've gone nuts and are popping up all over the place. image I'm pulling up/snapping off the excessimage
