Potatoes not growing

Hi, I planted some early potatoes in 3 containers about 4 weeks ago. So far I have not seen any growth. This is not first time I am growing and I have done nothing different than previous years.

Have I basically lost them or is there any hope. I used new compost in clean pots.. Ta

    I'd blame the low temperatures ... hopefully things will warm up soon and growth will pick up.  Don't water until you see growth ... cold and wet will cause rot.

    I hopeyour potatoes show soon.. It took mine a while to get going, now there is no stopping them.. Now the soil is warming up I will plant a few more today.. image
