Decking design, concrete footings or not?

Hi there,

I am looking to build some decking at the rear of our garden which gets good sunshine into the early evening.

my question is, will it require digging down to concrete some 4x4 posts in?

ive built decking twice before, once over concrete which was easy, and a raised deck which was supported underneath by a dwarf wall.

The size of the deck will be roughly 6m x 4m, and will have the usual things on it, BBQ table and chairs etc.

I have posted a photo of some old flags which I thought would possibly be ok to support it on, would make the job a lot easier for sure.
