Unknown bush or tree

I grow from seed, swap plants and have moved, losing plant labels on the way. This plant could be one of those or a stray seed from a bird perhaps but, I have two.

I would love to know what it is since my garden is too small for a very large tree and I maybe don't want both, whatever they are.

    Could be wrong, but it looks like a birch to me.

    Thanks Jess.  I've loaded pictures of birch leaves on the internet and the leaves of my plant do seem to correspond very well.

    Welcome image no idea which type though - goes beyond my knowledge! I'm sure somebody fare more experienced will come along and give you the exact name soon image
