Plan of existing garden

My daughter just moved to a new house and I've hand-drawn a scale plan and drawn on and numbered each plant in the garden, and created a table naming the plants.  With every change the plan will need Tippex and re-scanning before I can re-send it. 

Does anyone know of software that will let me draw and label such a plan?  It doesn't have to be a landscape design program.

    You could scan it into your PC as a jpg and then insert it into a Word document. There you could insert a table with all your plant names and label numbers and label the plants on the plan using Wordart or a text box.
