Revitalising an old Peat bed.
When we came here in 1990, I made a raised bed of 5 courses uncemented brick. It was to house the 5+ year old azaleas and heathers that we bought with us! I filled it with those big peat bales from B&Q that you cant get now and have left it to it! A couple of the red azaleas have been replaced but the orange and purple ones are just coming into the beautiful best.
Is it worth doing anything to it or will the roots be well down and spread way beyond my original bed?
Suggests please to do anything oer do nothing,
Many thanks
Phil
