What can you do to protect plants from frost in a greenhouse?

depends upon the plants and how cold it is/ likely to be.
I have an electric fan heater, turned full on, but plugged into a thermostat that kicks in at 5C.
If a hard frost is threatened, I lay fleece over delicate stuff. If you have no fleece, then a sheet of newspaper can help.
