Lawn edging

Wow, after watching garden rescue I was in awe of the man with the 'best kept lawn' and it got me wondering what you lovely people use to keep your edges neat. I notice a lot of people still prefer to do it manually as opposed to 'strimmers' and the like. Any particular tools you can't live without?

    I only use shears. I hate strimmers  image

    Necessary on a big area though unfortunately, or you'd spend your life trimming edges!

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I used to rather enjoy using lawn edge shears. Very therapeutic.

    Now it takes me about 7 hours to cut the " grass" , the edges are as near as I can get the mower.
