Expandable hose

has anyone got one? Are they any good? Getting another outside tap so thought I would give one a go.

My best friend got one for her Mum and she says it is really good.
There was a thread about these last year and many folk found they soon developed leaks or knots or other problems. I reckon a normal hosepipe on a reel is likely to be more sturdy. I had one of the guaranteed none kinking type that lasted over 20 years. On my second one now.

Here's an old thread about it

Don't get one, they split to easy
I'll let my friend find out for herself
I had one and it wasnt as good as I had hoped. It sprouted leaks especially from the point where it connected to the spraying gun, and holes elsewhere, and I ended up buying about 4 as I was joining two together. They lasted two years in total max, but they are lightweight and you may like them for that reason.. There is a knack if your water pressure isnt good, which is to allow the hose to fill up completely with the spray gun turned off, and then turn it on for use, otherwise you will never be able to take advantage of its full length.
Thanks Dove.
