Blueberry diseases?
Hi,
I bought three blueberry plants last year (1 'powder blue', 2 pink blueberry). Planted them in a wooden half barrel filled with ericaceous compost. There are not growing very much and only the 'powder blue' has any leaves. The growth is really spindly. The leaves also have brown spots on them. Not sure what's happening and what I can do?

I know nothing about blueberries apart from the fact that the fruits are a wonderful shape, but I think your plants may be suffering from iron deficiency or chlorosis.
In containers, blueberries need to be fed monthly with liquid ericaceous plant food.
Try to water your blueberries with rain water, where possible, as tap water will raise the pH.
To remedy the deficiency symptoms, you can apply chelated iron e.g. Sequestrene.
