    I would prune it quite hard and douse it in fungicide.

    I had one a couple of years ago with spots right down the stems. I was just about to bin it but couldn't bring myself to do it.

    It is perfectly healthy now so you might be lucky.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Thanks I will try that and hopefully it will survive.
