Spookily my mother in law has a large clump in her garden and loves them. The clump has got really big and she was wondering if they can be divided like snowdrops to fill some spaces she has. Any advice anyone please?

They're pretty much bombproof Anni.  I've been digging them out for years and the blighters still come back every spring image

Thanks all, I have seen that they are reported as poisonous to handle?

I handle them all the time as I'm tugging them out. No ill- effects. Admittedly, I've never tried eating them.
