Planting around a hot tub

Hi

my husband is about to sink our hot tub into the corner of our garden, with some decking around the edges, and with two fence panels 90 degrees at the boundary of our garden.

the rest of my garden has mostly perennials, and shrubs such as rhododendron and hydrangea.

i want to plant around the tub, both to disguise the adjacent panels, and to help it blend in a bit to the garden.

obviously it's going to be steamy around the tub...

i was thinking of some wall mounted planters on the fence to create a green wall, but what plants? Succulents? Ferns? Ivy? Sedges? Heuchera? Help!! Also some pots on the ground.

I would go for grasses and ferns

    Athyrium Ghost in the ground

carex evergold in the ground or pots

Eragrostis Tonnes burgundy in a tall pot on on plinth to trail down

To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.

I suggest nothing with prickles or thorns! image

Grasses and ferns would be good. Maybe some Acers in pots to give some height and exotic feel.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
