Bank voles

Hi, can anyone tell me if the colony of bank voles in my garden will swim in a trough and eat my tadpoles. I am trying to protect  the tadpoles as I love the frogs round my hostas.

    in a simple answer no, voles are vegetarian, however rats would do that. also if they are in a trough magpies and blackbirds will also eat tadpoles
