could any of you good people ID this plant I have growing in raised bed. It seems to have got a few mini me's growing around it and wasn't sure whether I should try to replant the little ones somewhere else.
I'm with you Dove.
If you leave roots behind, they'll grow into new plants. Can be a bit of a thug once it gets going.
Yes a Japanese anenome alright!
Yes agree with Japenese anemone. We introduced two small clumps about 15 years ago, gorgeous white flower - stem approx 2 foot high - but they are now turning into a pest - with new shoots coming up all over the flower bed, and they grow so quickly at this time of the year. I spend an hour or so each week just pulling out the new shoots in the flower bed. I think you can get the flower in other colours like pink or mauve too..
Gorgeous plant, but maybe keep it confined in it's raised bed. They are a real pain to control if they get out of bounds.
