I took some blossom pictures today, can you guess which tree each is from?
Not very good at this - they all look like cherry to me
the top one doesn't look like a cherry leaf though
I'm no good at this either
Maybe plum for the first
This is difficult! Cherry plums are 'out' at the moment... is one a crab apple? Too early?? ...
Don't forget, GD is on Guernsey - he'll be ahead of us ........... but I'm scratching my head ....
My cherry plums have been and gone, GD probably had hers before Christmas
well, maybe that's a slight exaggeration
You're milder than us Nut - cherry plums burst into bloom here this weekend just gone.
I think mine are early compared to some.
Last year, when we had that huge NYD flower count, I had a couple of blossoms on the cherry plum, But always by February.
Sparrows ate mine. They didn't even leave me one
I think the first one is Bullace - wild Damson
the 3rd one Prunus avium, wild cherry would be my guesses
not sure about the 2nd..
I'm in Fenland and our local wild cherry plums have been and gone, they opened in Feb.
Here's a photo I took Feb 21st.. just opening..

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
