Stipa tenuissima pruning?

Andy LeedsAndy Leeds Posts: 518

Not sure pruning is the right term for a grass but anyway....

My stipa is looking good, just a bit brown in places.  I've looked online and some sites say it's evergreen, some say deciduous so I'm confused if I cut it right back or if I try to comb out the old bits.

Any advice please?

All I do is to "comb" out the dead bits.

I'm a comber too ... then I reduce them by up to half in June if they start to topple ... always have a brilliant display.
