Don't think it's fine enough for achillea. Do the leaves smell? Celery-ish? If not, look at ragwort, because although, normally, the stems aren't dark, it sometimes does grow like that and the leaf shape is right. If it smells fresh celery/carrot smell, let us know.

Thanks for the replies. :-) I crushed a leaf and it just smells of cut grass. Not carroty really.

Then I think it's one of the ragworts. If you let it flower (yellow daisy), just to be sure, don't let it seed about.
