  • Verdun, now you have done it! I will be working out

a seven letter word that carries on with a four letter word, a five letter word that fits the former, the seven again, that fits with the next six, ending with lovely lepidopterists. No gardening for yonks!

image  Not sure if I'm being called  a butterfly or a frog ...  Whatever you're on Edd, I'd take more cocoa with it ...

    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • East Riding of Yorkshire, Brimstone, Comma and Small Tortoiseshell butterflies today.

Plenty of bees inc Bumble Bee and Lady Birds too.

I have terraced row of Sparrow Boxes, Blue Tits in the centre and House Sparrows are wanting to move into the end box. Blue Tits not having any of it. Been fighting all day. Must remember to get some rent out of them this year before they leave.

I saw the first bee on Sunday - briefly. It's probably gone back into hiding though - today isn't going to 'bee' suitable for it at all!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
