The starlings have gone! About three weeks earlier than last year. The bird food lasts much longer now.
Still plenty ( too many ? ) here in Devon.
Not talking about native starlings; we are plagued by enormous flocks of starlings which move in for the winter. Though it is a wonderful sight to watch them go over on the way to their roosts.
