Beginner gardner

Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help please?

I have a very empty, shaded area between two Palm trees and a magnolia bush and I am wondering what to plant.

I love flowers of most types and would be open to any suggestions.

My garden gets the sun from lunchtime onwards.

Love having a garden and learning as I go.

Thank youimage

cranesbill geraniums may be ok there - lots of colours and types to choose from. Little ones that creep around and much bigger ones too.

If you've not already done so, whatever you plant there will need some compost/rotted manure dug in to rejuvenate the soil and give your new plants a good start, and keep whatever you plant there well watered until its settled in.
    best of luck

Test your soil for it's PH, you can buy these kits at garden centre's. Also look at what grows well in your neighbours gardens, they are likely to have similar soil.
