Hypericum calycinum has beautiful bee friendly yellow flowers that will flower throughout Summer & into Autumn here, even in the shade. This variety is more low growing for ground cover.
Thanks for the ideas, I will be on google searching them all!
The idea is to have mostly herbaceous plants, but with some evergreen to add some interest over Winter (unless some plants are hardy and keep their leaves over winter?)
Any other suggestions on how to go about this would be great as I am new to this!

Hi all,
So I slightly deviated from a herbaceous border to whatever I could find and that was cheap.
From bottom to top there is astillbe, (very leggy) hebe, forget-me-nots, fuchia, wildflower border mix seedlings, another forget-me-not and a lupin.
I am not completely happy with the final look as it looks very miss matched, any suggestions for design and plants please!
