Lufthansa advertising on site!

Hi, for some reason i have just started getting a "lufthansa" airlines advert keep coming up when i try to view this site. As soon as i try to scroll through latest posts, the advert comes up from the bottom of the screen on my pad? I can see the posts i want to read in a gap, but i cannot seem to get rid of the advert. I'm hoping i can post this ok to see if anyone can help. I have tried turning pad on and off several times?

It seems to be a problem Loana - mods have been alertedimage

If you use your tablet in portrait form then you can scroll through it, but not in landscape.

Not sure who tests these things before they get released to cause a weekend of chaos image

Seems ok on my iPhone now but was misbehaving as described while on my iPad earlier. I'm not at home now so can't check if my iPad is still the same or if the problem has been resolved.

I have a nice email reply from GD offering me some help. Fortunately it looks like it has cleared up now, we are funny aren't we? We miss our forum ?

No such problems on my laptop with ad blocker installed.

I've just got Sarah Raven's bluebells sitting quietly in the corner.

I've got adblocker on my PC, which is where I normally access GW from.  I don't have it on the tablet or phone and tried to access GW from the phone at the weekend - the ad's drove me nuts.  It's not just their presence, but the way you'll be reading a post only for it to be shunted down the page by another ******* ad loading.

Ditto. Definitely recommend the ad blocker, it is compatible with most internet browsers minus tablets/phones of course.

What do you mean by "minus tablets/phones"? It's quite possible to install an ad blocker on a tablet. Can't say for a smartphone as I only own a "dumb-phone".image
