Drainage below pond liner
I'm almost done digging my pond & someone suggested installing Agi pipe (slotted drain pipe used for french drain) in the bottom before installing the liner. The Agi pipe would come out from under the liner on the side to route water out above pond water level. Pressure of water in pond pushes any water/gases under the liner through the Agi pipe to the surface. Has any body heard and/or tried this? -thx

It won't work! Water will find it's own level and water in the pond won't force any water below the liner to a level higher than the surface level of the pond (Hope that makes sense).
