Thank you Aym, also watching from 2015 which I haven't yet seen - only got into gardening mid '15. Also devfox - big dreams, small spaces on BBC iPlayer - returns this Friday I believe BBC2
Ahh yes Aym, I had almost forgotten about the flower shows! We are now RHS members - we went through Tesco's and used club points, which has worked out much cheaper so hoping to go to more shows this year - definitely Hampton Court again (it was amazing & I brought so much from nurseries that you cannot find else where!). I know right! The indulging is already stacking up but you can't ever have enough plants. I've learned so much through this site and other sources, I'm one of those all in or nothing people - so it goes straight to an obsession of an interest haha!
I dug out a box-set of Geoff Hamilton's Cottage Garden/Victorian Kitchen Garden etc DVD's - great watching and the cottage garden and gentleman's garden he creates from scratch looks as if it's been there forever after only 4 months. He makes it look so easy! and it's all at so much more of a relaxed pace than modern day programmes, lovely viewing
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
Just booked some annual leave off for the RHS Cardiff April 7-9th. This is a small show compared to Chelsea etc. but I love it. I noticed that there will be a new RHS show this year in Chatsworth - ideal for the 'Northeners'.
