They are, apparently, good eating raw, as slugs will tell you, but I'd rather keep mine for viewing

I've come over all faint.
At lest,Hosta is eatable.In Japan,you can buy them(called ‘うるい’) in the supermarket at times.Local people love eating tender leaves of Hosta.But I never try
