Wyevale Again

RedwingRedwing Posts: 1,348

I called into my local Wyevale yesterday and all climbers were reduced to £3, 2L and 3L pot sizes.  I bought a Pinot Blanc vine and a clematis; a bit hit and miss with this one but I have plans for the vine.

Based in Sussex, I garden to encourage as many birds to my garden as possible.

Nice, do you have places for them or an impulse buy? image I'm just jealous. Our Wyevale is useless, manager's discount is usually on dead annuals and that's it. The rest is horrifically overpriced compared to Longacres etc (a must visit for all, Bagshot, Surrey - voted top GC in the UK).

Ha! Have to admit on this occasion it was an impulse buy. I have created a Mediterranean style garden and fortunately, with a little rearranging, I can plant the vine against a sunny wall. It's given me ideas.

Usually Wyevale is way overpriced I find compared to my local much better nursery.
