Bare root roses

Can I trim a bit more off the roots so they fit better in their temporary pots?

In London. Keen but lazy.

    I wouldn't - I'd find a bigger pot somehow, or use a binbag full of compost, or even a cardboard box.

    They can be healed in for a while until your ready to plant them.
