hi I bought some fragrant pink lily bulbs last year, put most in pots on sunny patio, couple in beds, had 2 that grew, a whole 1 flowered and that was white... what can I do this year to ensure they actually flower?!

Buy big bulbs. A lot of bargain packs have little bulbs that will not flower the first year. Always with bulbs, the bigger the better. The flower is already in  the bulb then when you plant it.
