IF YOU TYPE "CAD GARDEN DESIGN" IN THE BOX AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE WHICH IS CALLED "SEARCH THIS SITE" YOU WILL SEE THAT THERE HAS BEEN QUITE A LOT SAID ABOUT THIS IN THE PAST.

SOMEONE MENTIONED THIS ONE, WHICH IS "NOT FREE BUT CHEAP"

MOST PEOPLE USE A BIT OF GRAPH PAPER AND A PENCIL - A METHOD WHICH HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME.

Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

I have looked several times over the years but never found anything which is remotely up to the job.  Software is obviously out there, but I suspect is aimed at the pro's with a price tag to match.

  • Sketch up is free and has been recommended to me by a few friends. I've spent about 2 hours playing with it and it is ok to use, I managed to get the basics outlined. However I'm resorting to paper again, it's just seems simpler to sketch ideas and then go outside and mark where things will be in the real world.
