HELP! My cactus is turning black

kszyni1kszyni1 Posts: 2

HELP! Have a cactus i'm not quite sure what species it is but it had started going black. I've looked over the internet firstly i thought that it was because of over-watering but all the pictures i saw were no where near as bad as my cactus, i'm just really nervous because i couldn't see on any forum a picture of cacti disease/rot that looked like mine, i think it could be a bug of some sort but i'm not sure. Please help ASAP

Here are a couple pictures I've taken.image

  • I'm not sure whats wrong with the pictures I've tried uploading them again but they don't open :/

I'll try to figure something out, unless you've got an idea of what could be wrong with the pictures. Thanks for telling me.

They may be too large so you will need to shrink them down.

  • There seems to be a glitch on the  site at the moment re uploading pics - I'm sure the tech team will get onto it when they return to the office after the Cbristmas break.
