Will a New Orchid Stem Appear?

Hi,

I have an orchid plant (Phalaenopsis) which bloomed twice a year with beautiful pink flowers for about 5 years.  However, 2 years ago the stem died and now I am left with 4 leaves which look ok, and about 6 roots, 2 of which have withered and the remaining 4 showing signs of withering... are there any measures I can take to make this plant healthier and to encourage it to regrow a stem and bloom once more??

Your advice will be much appreciated.

With hope...????
