tulips

Bought a large bag of lovely tulip bulbs in the garden centre is it too late to pot them up, and maybe put them in the greenhouse for now. Merry Xmas to all.

Get them planted Kath. They'll dry out otherwise. They'll be fine, although they may flower a bit later image

That reminds me - I still have some to plant as well! image

I've just realised I put 'out'  instead of 'rot' image

Apologies Kath - keep them outside in a sheltered spot rather than the greenhouse though. Pots are ideal as you can move them where you want them.

I never plant in the ground, except for the little species types, as they don't do well in our soil and climate here, but if your ground is suitable, and you have a good spot for them,  you can do that as long as the ground is favourable for planting. image

  • Hi Aym280,

I am on the north east coast and quite high up lots of wind. Thanks for your reply.
