It looks very much like Narcissus Minnow Vishu. Very pretty.

    Thanks a lot, Ladybird4

    It probably is Narcissus Minnow

But can it possibly be narcissus Jonquilla??? I have never seen one in my entire life.....so no idea..... But read on net that jonquilla also has very small flowers.

    Btw, really appreciate your help

You must be very proud Vishu. I don't suppose many people grow narcissus in India!

Maybe your plant is a Jonquilla - it looks similar in many respects, and if it has a strong scent makes it even more likely!

Enjoy your plant while it lasts and next year you may have more.

When the flowers have died, keep watering it and leave the leaves until they go yellow and die naturally, then your bulb will grow and flower again next year.

    Good luck

Vishu, it is unlikely to be Narcissus jonquilla as that has a complete yellow flower and grows to about 30cm high and yours seems much smaller. Quite a few of the other species daffodils - like Minnow which is in the Tazetta group - are scented.

I think it's Minnow too but you can compare it with teh info here if that helsp - https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/90112/Narcissus-Minnow-(8)/Details

If you want to keep the bulbs healthy for more flowers next year you need to remove the flower stems once the flowers fade and feed the plants to build up  reserves for next year's flowers.   The bulbs will increase in size and make offsets which can be grown on till big enough to flower, thus increasing your stock.

     Thanks a lot, mate

Daffodils do grow in India, in the valleys and foothills of the Himalayas but yes it's rarely seen in the northern plains and more so, in the That desert (where I live) so indeed I am very proud!!! Took me 4 years to source them. :) still searching for tulips......

Spring bulbs for us means Dahlia and gladiolus :D

    Thanks for the response......... :-)

Okay, know I am talking too much.......

    But I have a question.........

Does this narcissus needs a chilling period in the fridge......???

I am not sure since it is related to paperwhites and read that the don't need chilling so am a bit confused

Paperwhites are indoor Narcissi (again in the Tazetta group) here Vishnu as they are too tender for our climate. To 'force' them into flowering earlier than normal we can give them cold (but not frosty), dark treatment for about 8 weeks and this stimulates the production of roots and flowering stems. When we buy the bulbs at our garden centres they are often pre chilled. I would imagine that the Minnow would probably benefit from that type of treatment too. Cold and dark for roughly 8 weeks or until the shoots are just showing.
