Styrax Japonica

Never grown it aym. Find out where it comes from and when it flowers and seeds.

If it comes from a warm country., give it warmth. If it comes from a cold country, give it the winter chill treatment

No harm in having a go aym - it's only a pot and some compost, and maybe in 20yrs time (!) you can send me a pic of your beautiful tree, assuming it survives the fumes from the lorries, and assuming I'll make 80 ish..

You won't tempt me to go to homebase - I only go shopping when I need or want something, so I do all my impulse shopping then :)

When you garden, you have something to look forward to and that probably helps you to live longer. Haha! You want me to send you some of the seeds.. Haha!

Very true aym. During the dark winter months I can continue 'gardening' in my aquarium, re-landscaping and taking care of the aquatic plants I've neglected over the summer and planning on what to grow and change next year in the garden.
And then in the warmer months, turning it all (or some of it) into reality

There's always something to look forward to as a gardener.
