I always ignore any advice like that unless a clear reason is given at the time.
Having said that, I wouldn't put them in a pot together. Nerines like to get pot bound, undisturbed, daffs don't. Nerines like the hot dry places, daffs don't.
thanks for the reply, have got the nerines in a border, they are the only resident bulbs at this time, have got some asstd colour tulips and would like to put them into this border, forgot to mention border has also a Williams pear tree which we want to train along the fence
Unless someone comes up with a good reason not to, I would plant them. They won't poison each other or anything like that. But do make sure the nerines get full sun.
