dip in the lawn

Hi everyone

Do you think it is too late to try to deal with a small low level area of lawn by using top soil and grass seed?

I'm thinking it is a bit wet this area too.

I live in the south east.

Too late now, wait till Spring.

  • Okay. Thanks

  • Unless the dip in the lawn is very shallow, it's much better (and quicker) to deal with it by peeling back the turf, adding the topsoil and reinstating the turf, as shown here

Scroll down to Bumps and hollows.

But do it in the spring, not now. image

  • Thanks for that Dove.

I had this in mind but couldn't recall where I'd read about it.
