I have massive clumps of rampant kniphofia. Which don't seem to flower and just leave floppy long leaves. Are they worth propagating ? One root has even grown through a bulb ????
I think they will benefit from splitting and dividing - discarding the older plants at the centre of the clump and replanting the younger ones, well spaced, and give some fish, blood and bone.
That is, if you like kniphofia - if you don't I'd get rid of them and replace them with something you do like and that will add to your garden.
