Shrub id, please
Hi there,
Could you please help me identify this shrub which is planted in several specimens along a road in my village. Lovely autumn colours. Shrub is approx. 1.20 heigh x 1.20 wide. Leaves 70mm long x 30 to 35 mm at the widest, entirely red at the moment, the edge is finely dented, surface is mat but a bit siny. Red berries very similar to red gooseberries, 8 to 9 mm in diameter. If needed I can go back and take a photo of the whole shrub
TIA for your help!

could be one of the aronias
In the sticks near Peterborough
Thanks for the suggestion, nutcutlet, looks like an aronia indeed, the "red berries" type, Aronia × prunifolia 'Brilliant' (purple chokeberry 'Brilliant').
Anyone has got it in their garden?
