roses

i have bought a climing rose in a pot should i plant it out now or leave it untill the spring      stan

    PLANT IT NOW. THE GROUND IS STILL RELATIVELY WARM, WHICH WILL MAKE IT SETTLE IN BETTER.

    AND IF YOU LEAVE IT IN A POT IN AN EXPOSED POSITION OVER WINTER THE SOIL IN THE POT MIGHT FREEZE SOLID, WITH UNFORTUNATE CONSEQUENCES.

    Good advice from pansyface. It will be better protected once planted and will get off to a better start in the spring.

    By the way, pansyface types in capitals because of an eyesight problem, she's not shouting.

    Containerised roses can be planted at any time of year Stan. You plant bare root from now till March.
