I sewed some marigolds seeds early autumn, growing well in my unheated greenhouse. The problem is, some have already got flower buds so should I remove them and keep doing so until I can plant them out next spring.
Tagetes are usually half hardy annuals. I would pinch them out now to encourage sticky bushy plants and keep them in a frost free greenhouse over the winter.

I have kept plenty of marigolds seeds to sow in the spring, but we moved in May and its the first time I've had a greenhouse so I think was just a bit over enthusiastic to see if I could start them off early !! Many thanks for your reply and advice.

Are these Tagetes or Calendula?
Think they are Tagates. Grew them from seeds of this year's which, in the main are still in flower in my front garden
