Jasmin on a Shed

NewBoy2NewBoy2 Posts: 1,813

I have a Trachelospermun or jasminoides and was wondering as it says its a "climber " whether it will climb up my B & Q garden shed

? Does it cling to wood or is it just walls etc

Hi, i think monty said about jasmine up a shed? Someone has i know, i think you may need to give it a bit of help with some garden wire etc, but like you i fancy doing that to our shed, my hubby wouldn't be keen though, he would want to know how the wood can be treated once jasmine climbing over it, i can't see that being an issue ;) be lovely if you have seating near it as it smells lovely...

Trachelspermum jasminoides is a twiner so it will need something to wind itself around, like wires. It's not the same plant as jasmine, Loana. But Jasmine twines as well.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
