Will have a look. Unless it can burrow under houses or leap tall buildings with a single bound, I'm not too bothered as there's nothing much to interest honey fungus in my front garden anyway. I welcome we'll- behaved fungi in my garden. Some of them are quite beautiful.
I agree B3 and love seeing fungi appear in my garden. I do have HF though but for the last 10 years have been removing dead stumps and other large pieces of wood which were in contact with the ground (I used the remains of a 70ft ash tree which fell on my garden to edge raised borders - BIG mistake) and haven't had anything die for the last few years.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

No, I think not. Too rich a colour, more like sulphur tuft. I attacha picture for your reference. Look for the identifying 'collar' under the cap.
