I am going away in the winter for 6 weeks, my many salvias , mature and cuttings are going in an uheated greenhouse, will they survive without any water . I will be so upset to loose them, there are quite a few different types??? Help please
Your salvias should do fine, don't worry.
Ah thank you , that's good to hear
I think they'll be better off without watering - cold and dryish is better than cold and wet.
Enjoy your holiday

You made me laugh (again) when you mentioned your salvia 'royal rumble'. Of course you meant Salvia greggii 'Royal Bumble', see http://www.gardenersworld.com/plants/plant-finder/salvia-greggii-royal-bumble/ , not Royal Rumble: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Rumble
Funny how one letter can make a world of difference.
