When to cut back sedum
I wonder if anyone can confirm whether I should cut back my sedum at this time of year, i.e. Autumn? I've read that it's good to chop a sedum back a bit in Spring to strengthen its stems, but am not sure whether it should also be cut back in the Autumn.
Thanks for any advice!

I leave the flowered heads on for winter to add some structure. The old stems will just break off when you tidy up in Spring. To stop it flopping, you "chelsea chop", cut most of the new stems in half in late May.
I generally leave mine. I still have a lot of large, now deep red blooms, from "Autumn joy."
