I am considering buying some pansy seeds of eBay from china ,

I was wondering if anyone else has used these seeds and germination rates .

    BUYER BEWARE Jason.  

    I haven't personal experience of buying seeds on eBay but there have been so many ID threads this summer concerning "special seed" from China which have turned out to be common weeds that I consider it to be a risk.

    There is no way to guarantee exactly what you're importing into the country.

    Expensive bird seed more than likely.
    By the time you've found out what they are mid next year, the seller will have long gone

    When you can purchase pansy seeds from reputable UK seeds companies, for a similar or lower price as those on Ebay, why would you take the risk of spending money on something that may well not be what it purports to be?

    Was it a certain colour you were after Jason?

    Why not try asking on the seed swap thread? You could be lucky and find someone who has just what you're looking for image
