Out of Africa

in Plants
Dear friends, I have just got back from a truly amazing, inspirational and humbling tour of South Africa with my husband. We did the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, Zulu Battlefields, Capetown, Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated and Table Mountain. Fed the orphan elephants and saw some penguins, whales and seals. One other place that we visited was the beautiful Kirstenboch Gardens. Here are just a snippet of photo's that I took.

Oh Jacqueline how absolutely marvellous for you and what lovely memories that will stay with you forever. Your pictures are - as ever - truly beautiful and I did wonder where you were! Thanks again for always brightening up my day. x
Awwww, awesome pictures!! Did you walk with the elephants in Knysna? The Western Cape is very dear to my heart (probably because my South African better half stole it ?). Spent five years living in and around Stellenbosch and Cape Town - truly believe it is one of the most awesome places on the earth! So glad you enjoyed a magical visit! Namaqualand is a Jewel in the spring time - if you didn't manage a visit definitly put it on your list for the next visit... Believe me you'll be back, once you touch that red African soil it will be in your heart forever ☺️
