    I am in the northwest and apart from my hardy Osteo I would not risk waiting until the first frost. I would be taking them in round about now.

    All kinds. Full of buds. Will put them in porch. No greenhouse. Can't bring myself to chop them back as you should.a bit of crowded colour for the winter perhaps. It's hard to accept that winter is acomin inimage

    Aym I had the white one with blue underneath once. It was rampant for a few years but a one harsh winter killed it off. I love the rusty Brown/bronze ones but I suspect they're not hardy.

    Mostly green at the moment but getting ready for second flush. Will post pics if there's anything to seeimage

    It's worth a shot and if you take cuttings just in case, they won't need so much space.

    I've got a few in the ground and I'll leave them there. Gas and water pipes somewhere underneath so that might keep the soil temperature up a bit..
