Too Late?

cassiecassie Posts: 17

I was hoping to stock my front garden with new plants (perennials). Have I left it too late now? I live in West Scotland.

Hi cassie. If you are buying container grown plants it should be perfectly fine to plant them out now.

Cassie....the soil is still warm enough SW Scotland for planting perennials.

The only drawback at this time of year is the possible lack of choice if buying from a garden centre. However if it is a gardener that is putting them in for you, he should be getting them from a nursery where the choice should be better.
