Salvia 'hot lips'

I have a Salvia hot lips which is still flowering, but I would like to move it to another spot in the garden as it has grown rather large. Can I move it now or do I have to wait until it stops flowering? Thank you.

    I would wait until it goes completely dormant before moving it.

    I'd move it now. Cut it back after moving and take some cuttings, it propagates very easily. The act of pruning simulates new root growth. Taking cuttings is the insurance.
